KES COUNCIL

Dr Ngully

the second Chairman of the Advisory Board, is a nationally renowned psychiatrist. He has held many senior medical appointments and is currently the Director of the Regional Resource and Training Centre. He is also Chairman of the Kripa Foundation Nagaland, a branch of India’s largest NGO, which works with people suffering from chemical dependency and HIV Infection.

Dr Kuokehebi Gwirie

holds a degree and post-graduate qualifications in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. He is the Deputy Project Director of the Nagaland Livestock Development Board, run by the Government of Nagaland. Dr Gwirie lives in Jotsoma, where he is a member of the Grover Memorial Committee.

Dr Kezevituo Keditsu

is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist who has trained in both the UK and Germany. He worked in the Nagaland Health Service as the Medical Superintendent of the Civil Hospital, Tuensang, before resigning to set up in private practice. He is now the Managing Director of the Putuonuo Nursing Home, and a charter member of the Kohima Rotary Club.

Mr M K Mero

is the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, to which he was originally deputised in 2006. Prior to this, he served in various capacities in the Directorate General of Foreign Trade for the Government of India, where he was involved in the formulation and implementation of foreign trade policy.

Rozelle Mero

is a social worker and social entrepreneur who studied and worked in Mumbai, Hong Kong, Dubai and New York. She returned to Nagaland to set up a human resources development agency with an emphasis on improving regional job opportunities and supporting budding entrepreneurs. She is a member of the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance.

Mr P Atuo Mezhur

is the Managing Director of the Mezhur Higher Secondary School, Kohima. He is also President of the Nagaland Football and Table Tennis Associations, as well as a member of the Appeal Committee for the All India Football Federation. He was previously Regional Manager of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and was a founder member of KES.

Kelhouseto Nakhro

graduated with a law degree from Delhi University and is currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Nagaland Public Service Commission, Kohima. Previously he practised law in Dimapur and held the position of Legal Officer in the Nagaland Industrial Development Corporation.

Kezhokhoto Savi

graduated with a law degree from Delhi University and is a practising attorney who also teaches at the Kohima Law College. He is the Vice-President of the Nagaland Bar Association and a renowned anti-corruption and consumer activist. He has served as President of the Kohima Rotary Club.

Mhasisalie Solo

a qualified accountant, was appointed as the full-time Executive Manager in 2012. He previously worked as an analyst in the insurance industry, and for the TATA Consultancy in Bangalore

Pfelie Kesiezie

who has been Chairman of the Society since its inception, has decided to step aside to devote more time to his career as a distinguished educator and to his many community activities. He will continue to be available to KES as a counsellor.
