KET supporters visit Cameron Memorial at Kohima - March 2022

KET supporters visit Kohima

Ian Nivison and grandson Kai Chacksfield at the Cameron Memorial in Kohima

We are always delighted when KET supporters visit Kohima and were thrilled that Ian Nivison and his grandson Kai Chacksfield have shared these photos of their trip.  Not only did they attend the KET Scholarship awards ceremony where they were able to meet the student they have generously sponsored with a five-year scholarship, they also paid a visit to the memorial dedicated to the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders in Kohima. They laid poppies in memory of their relative Sgt A P Nivison who was with the 1st battalion, Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders and who fought at the battle of Kohima.
