Co-author Harry Fecitt discusses the background and writing to “The Road to Kohima” with KET trustee, historian Dr Robert Lyman.
About the book:
Together with Charles Chasie in Nagaland, Harry has written an extraordinary book which tells, for the first time, the Naga experience during the battle of Kohima in 1944. We’ll hear how the path to war revealed itself in the Naga Hills, and what the Naga view of the combatants (on both sides) was. We will learn what happened to the population of Kohima, and hear what the Naga veterans themselves recall of this time, documented in print for the first time in this volume.
